Nutrition

Nourish your brain with a Mediterranean-style diet, rich in whole foods like veggies, fruits, and extra-virgin olive oil.

Physical activity and exercise

Move your body! Studies show that staying active may help reduce risk of Alzheimer’s. Aerobic, strength, flexibility, and balance exercises are all important for overall health.

Stress management

Practice good stress management and build your stress resilience to protect
your brain from the negative effects of chronic stress.

Social engagement

Stay connected with family and friends. Engage in your community, participate in group events, and build strong, supportive relationships.

Sleep

Prioritize your sleep to give your brain the nightly restoration it needs! Practice good sleep hygiene, especially if you struggle to get 7-9 hours of good quality sleep each night.

Cognitive engagement

Keep your mind active and challenged. Never stop learning, practice new skills, and stay engaged with the world around you!
